Tayla and Jackson came to Bay Window Events with a brief that was equal parts romance and celebration, and they were unapologetic about wanting both. The vision was clear from the start: a wedding that felt deeply beautiful and completely alive, and a room that guests would remember long after they left.

Working with Ravella Newcastle as the canvas, the styling was designed to honour the venue rather than compete with it. The palette led with rich burgundy through layered draping, abundant florals, and flowing candle ribbons, drawing out the warmth already alive in the space. Chocolate brown anchored the quieter details, bone white balanced the depth without softening it, and black moved through the stationery with a precision that kept the whole look grounded and refined.

The ceremony was framed by a heavy velvet backdrop, the kind of thing that changes the feeling of a room the moment you walk in. Fabric signage carried their words in their own voice, personalised menus sat at every place setting, and the candles did exactly what candles do at Ravella: they made everything feel intimate, considered, and entirely intentional.

Then the cocktail towers arrived, and the tone shifted without losing a thing. Post-ceremony, the energy lifted. Tequila shots at the dancefloor entrance took care of the rest.
