Luxury Wedding Planner Newcastle & beyond

A creative at heart and an appreciation for details has shaped both my business and life. Previously I worked in large-scale events and project management. I loved the pace, the logistics and the satisfaction of delivering something seamless. But I often felt removed from the heart of it. I was executing events, not truly connecting to them.This all changed when I planned a close friend’s wedding. An undeniable spark was lit. The joy and absolute rush I felt being part of that experience was instant and led me to where I am today.

I started Bay Window Events to bridge the gap, bringing together impeccable execution and genuine connection. I take the time to deeply understand my clients, how they live, what they value and the feeling they want to convey on their special day. From there, my role is to take their ideas, inspirations and mood boards and translate them into something cohesive, intentional and deeply personal. That means curating a vendor team that truly aligns with their style and energy, building timelines and budgets that support their priorities, and thinking through all the ‘what ifs’ before they even become an issue.

The outcome is a wedding that feels beautifully effortless, weaving what truly matters to the couple into every detail. There’s laughter, ease and sense that everything is exactly where it needs to be. No stress and no surprises (except for the fun ones!).

On a personal note…

Based in Newcastle with my husband, our three little ones and our very loved beagle Elvis, my world is a blend of colour palettes and bedtime stories, run sheets and golden light.

What truly sets my approach apart is the intricate balance between deep care and absolute competence. By intentionally taking on a limited number of weddings each year, I’m able to offer a deeply considered and highly personalised experience, providing warmth and guidance to every couple’s journey. I bring a calm, grounded presence to what can be an emotional and high-stakes time, while quietly running a highly organised, detail-driven planning process behind the scenes.
